Open-world space shooter 'Everspace 2' hits Xbox One in 2021

Today during Gamescom 2019, Rockfish Games, the creators of Everspace, announced Everspace 2. Unlike the rogue-like prequel, this game is an open-world space shooter with classic role-playing elements and persistent player progression. Everspace 2 is coming to Steam Early Access in 2020 and should hit Xbox One in 2021.
Cofounder of Rockfish Games, Michael Schade, said the following about the project.
Rockfish Games plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign on September 9 with a funding goal of €450,000 for Everspace 2. If you liked the original, be sure to lend your support to the team's upcoming project.
Everspace is currently available through Xbox Game Pass. You can subscribe to the service for $10 a month, or bundle it with Xbox Live Gold for $15 a month.
Three-month subscription
