Channel 9 app for Windows 10 receives a UWP overhaul
Although the Channel 9 app for Windows hasn't received much love in recent months, today's update debuts a new app made specifically for Windows 10.
The Channel 9 app for Windows 10 now features a reworked design and backend, in the form of a UWP application. While both dark theme support or custom accent colors are no longer available, the streamlined app makes it easier than ever to access Channel 9 content.
Channel 9 is Microsoft's platform for developers and IT Pros looking to learn new information through a library of free videos, courses, and tutorials. It's a useful tool for both beginners getting started with the basics, as well as experienced professionals polishing their skills.
The app is free to download via the Windows Store, with the update now rolling out to existing versions of the app on both PC and mobile.
