Obi-Wan Kenobi joins Star Wars Battlefront II soon (update)

Updated November 26, 2018: The patch doesn't just include Obi-Wan Kenobi and Geonosis, but it also features Obi-Wan Kenobi "Robed" skin, new vehicles, the General Grievous "Shattered" armor, and much more.

General Grievous is one of the most popular Star Wars characters and recently, he joined Star Wars Battlefront II. Star Wars Battlefront II ignited a microtransactions controversy which a lot of foreign governments cracked down on. According to EA, "Trained in the Jedi arts by Count Dooku himself, you'll be able to inspire fear in your enemies as you take control of the fearsome General Grievous." However, that's not all.

On November 28, 2018, Star Wars Battlefront II will get a new update with even more free content. Aside from releasing a trailer, the publisher said, "The Clone Wars have begun. The hero Obi-Wan Kenobi and the map Geonosis arrive in the latest update." Obi-Wan looks absolutely incredible in the trailer, and he should give General Grievous a run for his money. If you still play Star Wars Battlefront II, then be sure to check out the new content next week.

Over the past few months, EA has turned the game around. It no longer features a pay-to-win microtransactions model and lets you earn gear and other cosmetics rather easily.

In Star Wars: Battlefront II, you embark on a first or third-person action experience in the acclaimed universe. Iconic characters like Darth Maul, Han Solo, and Kylo Ren make an appearance in this game, and there should be plenty of other surprises across its campaign and multiplayer modes.
