NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Founder's Edition now available for $350

Just as promised at CES 2019, NVIDIA today unleashed the GeForce RTX 2019, making the Founder's Edition available for $350. The launch of the new card marks a new entry point for the RTX 20-series, coming in under the more expensive RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 while still offering plenty of gaming power.

Like the rest of NVIDIA's latest graphics cards, the RTX 2060 comes with the same ray-tracing and AI capabilities. Ray tracing, in particular, is the big addition, adding more realistic lighting and photorealism in games that support it.

As for raw specs, the RTX 2060 is based on NVIDIA's Turing architecture and packs 6GB of GDDR6 memory and 240 tensor cores. Powering the card's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) tech is 52 teraflops of deep learning horsepower, which is intended to improve performance across games. When compared to the previous generation's GeForce GTX 1060, NVIDIA claims that the RTX 2060 can achieve up to two times the performance in modern games.

If you're looking to jump on the RTX bandwagon, you can pick up the GeForce RTX 2060 now for $350. Third-party cards from EVGA, MSI, and more will be available soon as well.
