Nokia Imaging Chief Damian Dinning leaves the company
Damian Dinning, Head of Cameras and Imaging at Nokia, has decided to leave the company, effective November 30th, 2012. It comes as a blow to the Finnish manufacturer as Dinning joined Nokia back in 2004 and brought with him years of experience in cameras and photography, with the likes of Minolta UK and Eastman Kodak under his belt.
Amateur Photography reports that the decision of Dinning has come as a blow to bosses at Nokia. The company is in the process of pushing out its latest smartphone, the Lumia 920 running Windows Phone 8, which sports an innovative camera on-board. To lose such an experienced employee will be a loss to the manufacturer.
Nokia has released a statement:
We understand Nokia has yet to announce a successor.
