Halo developer 343 Industries announced in a blog post that the next test flight for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently planned to begin at some point towards the end of March. According to the post, the flight will contain content for Halo 2 Classic as well as Halo 2: Anniversary, and will also include the long-awaited Halo: Reach Forge and Theater modes that were delayed back when Halo: Reach released on PC in 2019. Additionally, there's also a chance that the flight will contain some fixes for Halo: Reach's audio bugs, but 343 Industries noted that this may not happen depending on how far along the bug fixes are come flighting time. As of now, Halo 2 and Halo 2: Anniversary are the next two games in line to be released on the Master Chief Collection on PC.

If you want to have a shot at participating in the test flight (as well as ones in the future) you'll need to sign up for the Halo Insider Program. This program is completely free, and all you need to do is provide 343 Industries with the specs of your computer and the information it needs to deploy test builds to your Steam/Windows 10 Store account. We highly recommend signing up, as there's no downside; you get to play Halo for free, and you're helping 343 Industries weed out bugs in the process. It's a total win-win!

The Master Chief Collection is available on Xbox One, Steam, and the Windows 10 Store. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, the most recent title to come out on PC, is also available on Steam and the Windows 10 Store as a standalone purchase if you would prefer to buy each game individually as they come out.
