What is Song of Iron
Song of Iron is a side-scrolling action-adventure game where players take control of a powerful Viking warrior. Use your strength and magical abilities to solve clever puzzles and defeat towering enemies. Fans of Limbo and classic side-scrolling beat-em-ups will absolutely find something to enjoy. Created by solo-developer Joe Winter, who previously worked as an animator for franchises like Halo, Song of Iron is genuinely shaping up to be one of the coolest indie releases of the year.
When does Song of Iron release?
While we don't have an official release date for Song of Iron yet, we do know that this Viking-centric adventure will be coming exclusively to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2021. In a recent interview we conducted with Joe Winter, it sounds like summer is likely the current target, but we'll be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available. In the meantime, you can visit the Song of Iron website or Discord for more development details.
