New Rage 2 trailer summarizes its grisly post-apocalyptic content
Rage 2 keeps on getting crazier!
Rage 2 is a first-person shooter which takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. Following a catastrophic asteroid impact, Earth is in ruin and numerous individuals are put into underground hibernation. Unfortunately, events don't go according to plan and the surface is overrun by mutants and an oppressive organization known as "The Authority." It's up to you to liberate everyone and dismantle the oppressive regime once and for all.
Today, Bethesda released a new trailer which details what to expect from the game. If you see a vehicle, you can drive it. If you see an enemy, you can shoot it. Beforehand, we knew that there were cars and flying contraptions, but there are also motorcycles and so much more. Rage 2 seems like a truly expansive experience, and we can't wait until it launches in May.
A few weeks ago, Bethesda revealed that the game runs at 1080p 60 FPS on Xbox One X. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there's a 4K option. Hopefully the title won't look too blurry on the console.
Apart from that, the game also has cheat codes. Senior Gameplay Designer Peter Hastings said, "Cheats have been an integral part of games since... the original Doom. And we're proud to be keeping the tradition alive. Plus, they're just really funny."
