New Office icons now available for Mac Insiders
So fresh and so clean.
Microsoft's updated icons for the Office suite are now rolling out to Mac Insiders on the Fast ring. The new icons, which Microsoft first debuted last November, bring a more modernized look to the suite, aiming for a "bolder, lighter, and friendlier" feel.
This week's updates also include a redesigned contact card in Outlook, including support for macOS Mojave's dark mode, along with a slew of general fixes and improvements. For more, you can check out all of the release notes for the Mac Office Insider Fast release at Microsoft.

The new icons will eventually make their way across all platforms, but Microsoft is clearly taking a slow and steady approach to their rollout. The design cues that the Office team created are also making their way to other areas of Microsoft's portfolio, most recently popping up in a set of refreshed icons for the Your Phone Companion app that the company is currently testing.
