Halo Infinite is on the way and while the game is meant to have players take on the hope and mantle of Master Chief, every hero has a villain to face. That's the message in the latest Halo Infinite CGI teaser, which is focused on Banished War Chief Escharum, delivering a taunting speech to humanity about how hope will crumble in the face of opposition.
There's a long list of enemies in Halo Infinite that comprise the Banished forces, so players will need every edge they can get in taking on these vicious foes. This trailer comes hot on the heels of a gameplay overview for Halo Infinite's campaign, taking a look at the sandbox and how players will navigate the more open sections of Zeta Halo.
Halo Infinite is currently scheduled to launch on Dec. 8, 2021 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The campaign is available day one in Xbox Game Pass, while the multiplayer is completely free-to-play.
The next big adventure
Halo Infinite is the next big entry in the Halo saga and while it's packed with wonder and mystery, there's also myriad dangerous enemies in store on Zeta Halo.
