New Ghost Recon game may be announced on May 9
What could it be?
It seems like another Ghost Recon game is on the horizon. Today, the official Twitter Ghost Recon channel said that a "Ghost Recon World Premiere event" will take place on May 9 at 2:30 PM EDT. However, it's unclear if this will be a new game or an expansion to Ghost Recon Wildlands. Ghost Recon Wildlands has received tremendous post-launch support over the years, and it just got another event which stars The Punisher's Jon Bernthal.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is a third-person shooter which relies on squads. You and three other gamers — or computer-controlled allies — carry out various missions. You have to gather intelligence, scout locations, and do much more in order to be successful. If another Ghost Recon game is going to be announced, let's hope that it builds upon the solid foundation of Ghost Recon Wildlands.

What do you want out of a new Ghost Recon experience? Let us know. While Ghost Recon Wildlands was an expansive game, it wasn't as visually impressive as other open-world titles. The lighting needs a massive upgrade more than anything else.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is currently available for $25 on Amazon. The game features Xbox One X enhancements as it runs at native 4K resolution on the system.
