Elden Ring is an incredible game, but unfortunately, its PC version shipped with a myriad of bugs and technical issues that have been making it difficult for players to enjoy. One of the biggest issues reported by players when the game launched was a bug that prevented Elden Ring from recognizing plugged in gamepads like Xbox One or Xbox Series Controllers. This essentially forced many PC users to use mouse and keyboard for Elden Ring, which is an input method that most players don't prefer when playing FromSoftware's action RPGs.

In the week following the launch of Elden Ring, its developers have been working hard to fix problems with the PC version, and thankfully, the newly-released Elden Ring Patch 1.02.3 resolves this one.
