We've been waiting for this moment for months now.

It's finally here. After over six months of intently watching its wild development cycle, the Nether Update is coming to all platforms, including Windows, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch starting June 23, 2020. This means Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition are getting the update at the same time, guaranteeing that all of us will be able to jump into the newly designed Nether together.
Grab your most fireproof calendar, and start frantically circling June 23rd: the Nether Update starts rolling out on both Bedrock and Java… Why, this Tuesday!

It's been a fun ride to release day, with Mojang Studios surprising everyone with new features and mobs, and also boring everyone with update after update of just bug fixes (it's okay though, we'll all appreciate it when we're playing). Now we're less than a week away, until everyone moves into the Nether. And everyone also dies repeatedly as well. It's liveable, but barely.
If you're interested, you can check out the Official Nether Update website for more information (but why wouldn't you just get it here?) or take a look at the announcement post that brought us this wonderful news. Now I just have to figure out what to do for the next six days.
Available everywhere you play.
Minecraft is an inarguable and complete success. It has sold copies in the hundreds of millions, has a huge following of dedicated players, and lets you unlock your every creative desire. It's also available on every platform imaginable, including Xbox One, Windows 10, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Play with anyone, and play anywhere.
