  • During today's PS5 event, a brief look at the upcoming NBA 2K21 was shown.
  • A release date was not revealed.
  • From the looks of it, this will be the most realistic basketball game to date.

During today's PlayStation 5 event, a brief look at the upcoming NBA 2K21 was shown off, when New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson popped up on the stream to introduce the footage.

In the very short look at the game, we see Williamson dribbling a basketball in an empty gym, taking some shots before ending things with a viscious dunk that tears the rim down. During the footage, we also got close up shots of Williamson's face, which showed off the level of detail that NBA 2K21 is aiming to capture on next-gen consoles.

It's unknown when the game will launch or if it'll be available for current-generation consoles, but we'll have more information when we learn it.
