Microsoft is slated to host its 20th anniversary Xbox stream on Monday, providing a reel of new announcements marking two decades for its console family. It's set to surface a number of surprises, including the rumored early release of Halo Infinite's mutliplayer, with more Xbox Game Pass announcements seemingly on the docket.
In an Instagram reel posted by the Xbox Game Pass account, Microsoft has now hinted at the arrival of Mortal Kombat 11 for its gaming subscription service.
Given the timing, it's not unreasonable to assume Mortal Kombat 11's Xbox Game Pass debut sits ahead. Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest entry in the fighting series, released in 2019, and continues the story after the events of 2015's Mortal Kombat X. It introduced a robust cast of DLC characters this time around, particularly from the 1980s. Iconic characters such as Rambo, Robocop, The Terminator, and The Joker joined the ranks of the Kombat Pass, making for a truly memorable cast in the series.
While we don't have official confirmation yet from Microsoft or NetheRealm Studios about its Xbox Game Pass release, we recommend keeping an eye on the upcoming stream for more what's to come.
