Alcatel OneTouch's Windows 10 Mobile 'superphone' reportedly called the Idol Pro 4
More rumors about Alcatel OneTouch's next Windows 10 Mobile device have hit the Internet. A new report says the company plans to call the "superphone" the Idol Pro 4 and it will have some high end features.
The report, from WMPU, claims the Alcatel OneTouch Idol Pro 4 will have a full HD display, along with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor inside. The report also claims it will support Windows 10 Mobile's Continuum feature, to allow the phone to be used like a Windows 10 PC when hooked up to a large monitor, mouse and keyboard.
The report adds that the phone will include support for Reset Protection, allowing owners of the Idol Pro 4 who lose their phone or have it stolen to ring, lock or erase it remotely. Finally. WMPU says the phone will be sold by T-Mobile in the US. There are no details about any of the phone's other hardware features, such as its memory or storage amounts, nor is there word on a release date or price tag. As usual with these kinds of reports, take them with a grain of salt until confirmed details arrive.
