Recently, Capcom was the victim of a massive ransomware attack, where hackers leaked information related to internal plans for different games across multiple Capcom franchises. Among the many games that have possibly been leaked is a new Monster Hunter title being referred to as Monster Hunter 6. According to the leaked spreadsheet, this game is scheduled to release at some point in 2023.
It's worth noting that after the success of Monster Hunter World, not only is another Monster Hunter game unsurprising but this game will probably be titled Monster Hunter World 2, or something similar. Monster Hunter World is the bestselling Capcom game of all time, with over 16.4 million copies sold as of Capcom's latest financial results.

As for Capcom's more immediate games, Monster Hunter Rise is currently slated to release for Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021, while Resident Evil Village is coming in 2021.
