Mixer now lets partners create clips of their epic gaming moments
Microsoft's streaming service is making it easier for partners to show off their favorite moments.
Mixer announced today that it's adding two new clips-related features to the platform, aimed at making it easier to dig into the most epic gaming moments on the platform. Not only will Mixer partners now be able to create short clips of their own, but HypeZone will now automatically create clips of the final moments of a match.
For Mixer partners and editors, you'll now have access to a new clip option that will let you capture the past 30 seconds of a stream. If something awesome happens and you want to memorialize it on your channel, clicking the clip icon will automatically capture the past 30 seconds, giving you the options to view, rename, and instantly share the action. All you have to do is make sure you have the setting to "keep recordings of my streams" toggled on.
As for HypeZone, Mixer is making it easier to catch up on the best moments from the end of a match. HypeZone will now automatically create clips of a streamer's final minute in a match, whether it ends in triumphant victory or horrible defeat. Either way, you'll be able to quickly move through the HypeZone channel or a streamer's channel to dig into the clips.
Whether you're a streamer or a viewer, you can check out more on Mixer's HypeZone FAQ and Partner Clip FAQ to learn how to get started.
