Mixer homepage changes should highlight more up and coming streamers
Mixer's chief has announced a small but important update to the service's homepage that should help more streamers get noticed.
Mixer continues to grow and put a lot of effort into helping its community grow. We've got the two HypeZone channels that will jump into PUBG and Fortnite Battle Royale end-games, but today Mixer's co-founder, Matt Salsamendi has announced an update to the algorithm on the homepage.
The featured tab is the focus and the endgame is that a larger number of streamers will find their way into it.
Today we updated the Mixer homepage algorithm with some important changes to featuring. Once featured, there’s now a 1 week cooldown before a channel can be featured again. This means more content featured each day, and more up and coming broadcasters getting love. <3Today we updated the Mixer homepage algorithm with some important changes to featuring. If you're regularly on the feature block, then it might come as a little knock to you, but the more important aspect is continuing to help Mixer streamers grow their channels.
For viewers, it means a bigger variety of content to discover, and maybe your next favorite broadcast.
