Mixer now has more options.

What you need to know

  • Mixer is Microsoft's livestreaming platform.
  • The service prides itself on its customization features.
  • Yesterday, the service revealed that it was adding more "Embers" to bundles.
  • Embers are virtual currency that can be used for skills and other perks.

If you're an avid Mixer viewer, you'll be happy to know that more "Embers" are being added to bundles. This was announced last night by the official Mixer Twitter account. Embers are a virtual currency that allow you to express yourself further on Mixer.

You can take a look at the tweet below. Even mobile users are getting some love soon.

Embers are Mixer's new paid virtual currency. Users can purchase embers and then use them on Premium Skills on partnered channels on Mixer. As with the launch of Season 2, we understand that developers may have questions and we'll be answering them on this page.

Are you excited about more Embers? Do you use them? Let us know.
