What you need to know

  • Mixer Channel Subscriptions allow viewers to watch with no ads and use exclusive emotes.
  • Subscriptions are usually $4.99 a month.
  • You can now use Microsoft Rewards points to redeem a subscription instead.

Subscribing to your favorite channels on Mixer just got easier, provided you're using Microsoft Rewards. Mixer announced today that users can now redeem Mixer Channel Subscriptions with Microsoft Rewards. A one-month subscription, which is usually $4.99 per channel, will cost 3,850 points.

It's important to note that subscribing this way is not recurring, so if you want to subscribe to the same channel a month later, you'll need to do so manually. There is however no limit to the number of channels you can subscribe to using this method — as long as you've got the points, you're good to go. If you haven't signed up for Microsoft Rewards yet, you can do so right here.
