Mirror's Edge Catalyst gets action-packed launch trailer ahead of June 7 release

Electronic Arts has released the launch trailer for the second entry to its rooftop-based parkour series, Mirror's Edge Catalyst. The trailer showcases even more freerunning across the City of Glass, ahead of the game's worldwide release next month.

The trailer also gives a further look into the game's narrative, which is set to play a major role in Mirror's Edge Catalyst. The footage mostly consists of hand-to-hand combat and fast-paced rooftop traversal, but also teases some of the upcoming conflicts between the game's cast.

The game is now available for digital pre-order from the Xbox Store, priced at $59.99 for the standard edition. For those with an EA Access subscription, the game is discounted by 10%, with a free trial one week ahead of the worldwide release.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst releases next month on June 7th in the United States and June 9th in Europe. The game will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC through EA's Origin client.
