The Mint finance app is now a universal app for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1
The latest universal app for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 is the popular personal financial app Mint. The Windows Phone version was updated this week to reflect that new status.
Unfortunately, that's the only big change for the Mint app, which is designed to help people stay on top of their spending and financial matters. Aside from that, the change log only indicates that the Mint app has some "minor fixes and improvements." Still, the fact that another major app has moved to "universal" status shows that more companies are embracing Microsoft's idea of one app. That will be even more evident with the launch of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile later this year.
