Microsoft has announced some of the details for its next Xbox FanFest, which will be held at Cologne, Germany as part of the company's Gamescom events. 200 fans will get a chance to attend the event.
Xbox Wire has the details on what those lucky FanFest attendees can expect:
- An exclusive "Xbox FanFest Showcase" on Thursday Night, August 18, from 20:00 – 23:00 CEST at the Xbox Booth, Hall 8. Experience all the games and cool surprises in the Xbox booth after the crowds have gone for the night.
- Special Xbox day-time activity on Wednesday August 17.
- Meet and greet some of the industry's top developers, leaders and influencers.
- Swag bag full of Xbox-gaming content
If you are going to be in Cologne, Germany during that week, you will have to be at a certain location on Wednesday morning, August 17 to be one of the lucky 200 folks to get tickets to the FanFest, Microsoft will reveal that secret location on that day via its official Xbox Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat accounts. Attendees much be at least 18 years of age to attend. Also, getting a ticket to Xbox FanFest will not allow the user to attend Gamescom itself on its consumer day of August 18-21.
