Microsoft's new Windows 10 ads show off the Dell XPS 13 and HP Spectre x360
Microsoft has a new series of TV commercials promoting Windows 10. The latest campaign shows how ordinary people use the OS on the Dell XPS 13 and HP Spectre x360 laptops. The ads also claim the laptops offer features that are not on Mac notebooks. The new campaign, along with commercials for the Surface Pro 4, are popping up in the middle of the lucrative "back to school" shopping season.
The new ads for Windows 10 and the Dell XPS 13 focus on Mike and Anne Howard, who turned their worldwide honeymoon journey across all seven continents into a online travel blog and business. The Howards state how much they like the touchscreen and high battery life on the Dell XPS 13, combined with the use of Windows 10.
The commercials with the HP Spectre x360 and Windows 10 have college students Kelsee and Nkeiru talking about how they can take notes in class on the notebook's display, via OneNote. There's also time for fun, as they can call upon Cortana to start running Netflix for a study break.
