Microsoft is testing a new version of its Translator Windows Phone app

Microsoft is internally testing a new version of its Translator app for Windows Phone. The app has a listing on the Windows Phone Store site, but currently cannot be installed on normal consumer devices.

WindowsBlogItalia somehow managed to get the Translator beta app to work, and took some screenshots that show a new user interface compared to the current public version. The pivot interface appears to have been ditched in this beta version, with a static screen and all necessary buttons taking its place.

There's no word on when this new version of the Translator app will be released to the public.
