Microsoft slashed $400 off the Surface Laptop 3 for its latest sale
The Core i5, Core i7, and AMD versions of the Surface Laptop 3 are on sale right now.
The Surface Laptop 3 is a traditional clamshell laptop with the premium design and finish people have come to expect from Microsoft's Surface family. The laptop is available in a range of colors, and right now, you can grab it for up to $400 off through the Microsoft Store.
A premium, straightforward laptop
It's not a 2-in-1, so it has no form factor tricks up its sleeve. But it is a tremendous, premium-looking laptop with a great display and specs to boot.
The good news for this deal is that you don't have to get the version with the highest specs to see big savings. Some sales scale up as you improve specs, but both the Core i5 and Core i7 versions of the Surface Laptop 3 are $400 off right now. There actually is a specific model with a slightly larger deal, but it's quite specific. If you pick up the AMD Ryzen 7 version of the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3, you'll save $450.
The current sale is available on both the 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 3 and the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3. Supplies seem low for the Surface Laptop 3, at least from Microsoft's website, so you may have to jump around between a few color options to get the internals you want on sale.
The Surface Laptop 3 has a clean look that shows off its 3:2 display and its all-metal design. In his Surface Laptop 3 review for the 15-inch model, our executive editor Daniel Rubino says, "Saying the Surface Laptop 3 15 looks like art is not an understatement" and that "Every little detail of the Surface Laptop 3 15 signifies precision craftsmanship."
Rubino also gave the 13-inch version good marks in his Surface Laptop 3 review.
