Microsoft to sell 500 GB Xbox 360 internal hard drive

Microsoft's Xbox 360 may be close to nine years old but the company is still offering new accessories for the game console. This week, Microsoft revealed plans to sell a 500 GB hard drive for the Xbox 360.

The new hard drive from Microsoft appeared on the official Xbox.com website and is designed for the S (Slim) and the E versions of the Xbox 360. While there are third party companies that also offer 500 GB internal hard drives for the console, this is the first time Microsoft has indicated it will offer an official product like this. The listing indicates that pre-orders for the hard drive will begin soon for an estimated price of $109.99.
