Microsoft Research's Xim app scores photo captioning and saving in latest update
Xim, the photo sharing app for Windows Phone that comes straight from Microsoft Research, scored a minor update today that brings the ability to caption and save photos.
In addition, the update also brings the usual smattering of bug fixes and performance improvements.
Here's how the official changelog for Xim version 1.5.1 breaks down:
- Now you can add a caption, save a picture, and more
- Some performance improvements
- Minor bug fixes
If you're unfamiliar with Xim, it's an app from Microsoft Research that allows you to share photos with others around you without passing your phone around. You simply select photos you want to share, and send them to those around you using the Xim app on Windows Phone, iOS, or Android. From there, every action you take on your device, from panning to zooming, is replicated on the devices you're sharing with.
If you'd like to grab the update for yourself, you can hit up the store link below to start captioning and saving those photos.
