Microsoft may be a little late to the party, but the company has now become the latest business to launch a site on the popular Tumblr microblogging service. The site itself is called "Inspired By", and it offers links to Microsoft's articles about how people use the company's technology to help others.
Microsoft says:
"The page is dedicated to the people who inspire us with their achievements, empowered by technology. These makers, collaborators and do-gooders range from Riley the shark expert to Laila the champion barista and Henry Ford II the bicycle builder. Each embodies the spirit of Microsoft's mission to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more."
Tumblr first launched in 2007 and currently has over 266 million blogs. It is currently owned by Yahoo, which bought Tumblr in 2013 for $1.1 billion.
