Microsoft releases June firmware updates for Surface Book, Surface Pro 4 and Surface 3 LTE
Should you be rocking the Surface Book, Surface Pro 4 or Surface 3 LTE Microsoft has an update for your Windows 10 PC. This latest wave of firmware releases for June focuses on improved stability across the range, as well as some battery enhancements when in connected standby.
As spotted by MSPU, here are what the three updates bring to Surface owners:
Surface 3 LTE
- Improved reliability of mobile broadband connectivity
Surface Pro 4
- Improved system stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation
- Optimized battery use in connected standby
- Resolved issue where touch screen remained active when clipboard is closed against keyboard
Surface Book
- Improved system stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation
- Optimized battery use in connected standby
- Fewer unexpected shutdowns while device is sleeping
- Resolved issue where touch screen remained active when clipboard is closed against keyboard
