Microsoft Band 2 and Health app pick up weight tracking, GPS Power Saver and more
Microsoft's fitness-focused wearable, the Band 2, along with the Microsoft Health app, have been updated with new functionality, such as the ability to track weight, sharing your workouts, GPS enhancements, and activity reminders.
The Microsoft Health app is now at version 2.3.20126.0, offering a number of changes. You can now track your weight with Health, and view trends in your weight for the month, for the last three month, or for as long as you've been logging it. You can also enable GPS Power Saver in the Band's Bike and Run tiles, which can extend your battery life by up to four hours. You can also check out the Web Tile Gallery, which lets you find web content that you care about to put right on your Band.
