Microsoft auctioning custom Xbox One X consoles for Make-A-Wish Foundation
Bid right now.
Do you like collecting custom consoles? Well, you're in luck! Today, Microsoft announced that it's auctioning off custom consoles to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The "Consoles for Kids" program will feature Xbox One X units signed by celebrities like The Rock, Usain Bolt, and even developers from games like Battlefield and Halo.
The consoles will be on auction through Charitybuzz until October 3, 2018. The best part is that a hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Microsoft isn't subtracting the cost of manufacturing the devices or creating the custom designs from the donation. You can read about the various consoles available below.
Games
- Battlefield V
- Fallout 76
- Halo
- Minecraft
- Rocket League
Celebrities
- Caleb McLaughlin
- Carmelo Anthony
- Charlie Puth
- Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson
- Justine Ezarik
- Jack Black
- Ludacris
- Liverpool Football Club
- Ninja and Marshmello
- Post Malone
- Prince Royce
- Ronda Rousey
- Smosh
- Usain Bolt
- Wiz Khalifa
The minimum bid is $350, but some consoles — like the stunning Halo-themed Xbox One X — have already surpassed $3,000. It seems like $3,000 might be the highest because not all of them are generating as much buzz as the Halo device.
If you want to, be sure to support this cause. The Make-A-Wish Foundation arranges experiences described as "wishes" for children with serious illnesses.
