Microsoft has unveiled a partnership with Foot Locker in Europe, giving eager fans the chance to secure a free Xbox One X, leading up to the launch of the console. As detailed in a post on the ESL blog, fans in Manchester, Paris, and Rotterdam will have the opportunity to compete in Forza Motorsport 7 tournaments, with the chance to win the now sold-out Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.
Forza Motorsport 7 tournaments will take place on Saturday, October 21, across three of the shoe retailer's stores. In the UK, the promotion will take place at Manchester Trafford Centre, while in France and the Netherlands, fans will need to head to Parvis de La Défense and Lijnbaan respectively. In-store, players will have the chance to battle it out in Forza Motorsport 7 races.
Microsoft is promising chances to win prizes every 20 minutes, ranging from Xbox One X consoles, to "the hottest sneakers" on offer at Foot Locker. Throughout the day, 14 consoles will be on offer, alongside 28 copies of Forza Motorsport 7, 14 pairs of sneakers and 28 Foot Locker gift cards. Prizes will be available to all of those who visit in-store or tune into the broadcast on Microsoft's in-house streaming platform, Mixer.
