Metro Exodus provides plenty of jump scares in new autumn trailer
Metro Exodus features a lot of different biomes.
Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter which has garnered a lot of interest in recent months. The game is a sequel to Metro: Last Light which was ported to Xbox One a few years ago. Years after nuclear war devastated Earth, a few survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow. They have struggled against the lethal elements and fought mutated beasts. Now, in Metro Exodus, they must flee the underground tunnels in search of a new life in the East.
The trailer departs from the frozen wastelands to tour a region bathes in autumn leaves. According to 4A Games, the footage is a great example of the environmental diversity awaiting players. Metro Exodus still follows Artyom, the protagonist from the first two adventures. Despite the "bad endings" of the first two games, he's somehow managed to survive this long.
You can buy the base game for $59.99, or the base game and expansion pass (Metro Exodus: Gold Edition for $84.99. Moreover, if you preorder Metro Exodus now, you'll get Metro 2033 Redux at launch too. Metro 2033 Redux is the first game in the series, remastered for Xbox One.
If you love post-apocalyptic experiences like Rage 2, then be sure to give this game a go on February 22, 2019. The title features Xbox One X enhancements and runs at native 4K resolution on Microsoft's new console.
