MEGA extension now available for Microsoft Edge
MEGA, billed as a secure cloud storage service, is now available as an extension for Microsoft Edge.
The list of extensions for Microsoft Edge is gradually growing, and the latest to hit the library is MEGA. The cloud storage service, billed as a secure alternative to other services, can now be installed as an Edge extension, adding a quick way to access your files from the browser (via Windows Blog Italia).
MEGA is already available in beta with a dedicated Windows 10 app as well. Aside from its security prowess, which MEGA says it achieves by encrypting and decrypting data on your machine, MEGA's other highlight is that it provides 50GB of free storage. Using the Edge extension, MEGA says, will "reduce loading times, improve download performance, and strengthen security.
If you want to give it a shot, you can grab MEGA for Microsoft Edge at the Microsoft Store now.
