The Huawei MateBook X unlocks with a fingerprint, pumps music with panache, and stands up to way more seltzer than I intended to spill on it (for real). But Huawei – despite being the world's third-largest smartphone vendor – is still new to notebooks, and still a veritable unknown in the U.S. market. With the MateBook X, Huawei is hoping to change all that.
