The Mall has updated the Xbox One version of its shopping app to make shopping even quicker. The latest update ticks the Xbox One app up to version 3.0 and includes a secure wallet function that lets you take advantage of one-click purchasing after you've entered your payment information once. The latest update also includes price matching, better navigation, and more.
Here's a look at what's new in The Mall version 3.0 for Xbox One:
- One Click Cart. Our biggest update is to add a secure wallet function across the app. Once you put in your payment details once, we won't have to ask you again. The next time you purchase you will simply have to press Checkout and Buy! Simple!
- Matched prices. We match the best prices of any of the main retailers such as Best Buy or Gamestop and always do a live check on checkout, to match the lowest we can find. Better product ranges. We now have more stock than ever but it's curated for Xbox One users.
- Easier Navigation. We have totally redesigned our navigation – so you will always be able to reach any product anywhere within 2 clicks from the Browse Page.
Initially launched in 2015, The Mall is an interesting app, in that it allows console users with a Kinect to virtually try on clothes while shopping around.
If you're shopping from your couch with a controller, quicker ordering is sure to be a blessing. The Mall also recently launched as a Windows 10 desktop app, so you can do some shopping for clothing, electronics, and the like at your PC should you choose. For now, you can update to the latest version of The Mall on you Xbox One now.
