Grab what stock remains for the limited-edition Xbox controller, designed around the hotly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.
Microsoft recently unveiled its limited-edition Xbox One accessories range, themed around upcoming role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, poised among the most anticipated titles for 2020. A new custom Xbox One controller was a centerpiece of the collection, taking inspiration from the game's charismatic rockstar, Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves.
Following its launch earlier this week, the Cyberpunk 2077 controller appears to be a hit, selling out faster than past limited editions. Microsoft Store listings across the globe now list the controller as out of stock, with Amazon listings already hitting $240. For budding U.S. buyers looking to buy the controller, a limited amount of units remain with GameStop for the $75 retail price.
A glimpse of Cyberpunk 2077 in your hands.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One controller brings a metallic two-tone spin on Microsoft's signature gamepad. Inspired by Keanu Reeves' in-game persona, Johnny Silverhand, the design adds a rustic, futuristic flair to your gaming setup.
The limited controller aligns with the world of Cyberpunk 2077, embracing an asymmetrical "half natural and half cyber-enhancement" design. That features metallic paneling fused with rustic black, including "No Future" scratched on the right grip, and the rear-facing samurai logo.
The Cyberpunk 2077 controller is compatible with Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices, while also guaranteed for Xbox Series X later this year. The device preludes an upcoming limited-edition Xbox One X console bundle, featuring the same industrial aesthetic associated with the dystopian setting, and locked down to just 45,000 units.
