League of Stickmen is a Windows 10 game for those who prefer games with a fast pace and plenty of action. The gaming title has you taking leading of a team of warriors, the Stickmen, who are in the midst of a battle with the Shadow Minions who have plunged the world into darkness.

Graphics for League of Stickmen match the mood of a battlefield where you face off against a range of shadowy foes. Gameplay is quick and if you are not careful, the Shadow Minions can easily overtake your heroes and end the game.

Normally priced at $0.99, through the help of the myAppFree promotion, you can pick up League of Stickmen free over the next twenty-four hours. Along with being available for Windows 10 PC and Mobile, League of Stickmen is also available for Windows Phone 8.1. The League of Stickmen is an entertaining combat game and a fun way to pass the time.

League of Stickmen offers you two gaming modes, character development and plenty of evil minions to destroy. The two modes include Dungeon and Boss. The Dungeon Mode is a multi-chapter story mode with each chapter offering multiple levels to play. In each level you face a collection of lesser enemies that progressively become more difficult to defeat, ultimately leading to a boss fight.

The Boss Mode is initially locked and becomes available after you complete the third chapter of the Dungeon Mode. This mode also has multi-chapter gameplay, but instead of having to fight your way through minions you go straight to facing off against the bosses.

League of Stickmen also includes a variety of warriors to control. You begin gameplay with the Guardian Warrior and as additional warriors become unlocked, there are opportunities to select combatants based on their skills or send multiple warriors into combat.

Gameplay with both gaming modes is consistent and when you first jump into gameplay, League of Stickmen sends you through a tutorial on gaming features. Movement is handled through directional arrows located in the lower left corner of the gaming display and your attack controls are positioned in the lower right corner.

League of Stickmen

There is a primary attack button that is surrounded by specialized attacks based on the warrior you are controlling. The specialized attacks have a little more gusto and once used, requires a few seconds to recharge before being used again. If you are battling with a party of warriors, there is a switch button included in the gaming controls to allow you to change which warrior you control.

The pace of the game has a bit of zip to it and there is plenty of loot to collect as you slay your enemies. Loot that can be used to upgrade your warrior's equipment and skills. The graphics are a little on the dark side but fit the mood of battling a shadow army nicely. In many respects, League of Stickmen reminds me of Dark Lands and is a fun way to kill a little time.

Available for Windows 10 PC and Mobile, as well as Windows Phone 8.1, League of Stickmen is regularly priced at $0.99. However, through the myAppFree promotion, you can pick up League of Stickmen free over the next twenty-four hours. It is a fun game and with the help of myAppFree, an easy way to save a buck.
