It's no secret that Mixer and Twitch have been signing exclusive deals with a lot of content creators. The most famous example of this would have to be how Ninja streams exclusively on Mixer. However, YouTube is also doing the same. Today, the Google-owned company announced that YouTube will now be the exclusive livestreaming home for three well-renowned gaming creators. LazarBeam, Muselk, and Valkyrae who have over 21 million subscribers combined just signed on.
Lannan or LazarBeam, is one of the world's biggest content creators, with over 12 million subscribers. Elliott or Muselk, has loved gaming since he was a kid. Originally studying to earn a law degree, Elliott started making YouTube videos after classes at night. Rachell or Valkyrae, is a top Fortnite creator who previously streamed games such as The Witcher 3, Hearthstone, and more.
YouTube's Head of Gaming Ryan Wyatt said the following about the deals.
Valkyrae added the following about her decision to join YouTube.
It seems like exclusive streaming partnerships will just become more common in the future. Hopefully, all three livestreaming platforms — Mixer, Twitch, and YouTube — will continue to thrive in the coming years due to this. However, only time will tell who comes out on top.
It'll last you a couple of months
