Latest PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) patch adds new weapons and vehicles
PUBG just got a number of fixes.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a last-man-standing shooter being developed with the help of community feedback. Starting with absolutely nothing, players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a battle to be the only one alive.
The game suffers from numerous bugs on Xbox One, and today PUBG Corp. detailed some changes rolling out today. The PUBG patch tweaks a number of weapons to make gameplay more fair for everyone. However, new weapons and vehicles are also being added.
The SLR is an advanced rifle which is great for taking out enemies if you can handle the recoil. The "Mirado" car allows you to cruise Miramar in style and run over countless other players. Lastly, there are numerous new weapon attachments like the "Duckbill" which make weapons endlessly customizable. You can access the complete patch notes on the PUBG Forums.
Apparently, PUBG Corp. is also testing out custom matches on PC, so they might takes months to reach Xbox One. Due to the significant resources it requires to host custom matches, this might be a paid feature down the line.
Hopefully the next patch will also bring frame rate improvements for console owners. Games like Fortnite are witnessing unprecedented success because many players are abandoning PUBG due to the problems. The patches need to come out soon before it's too late.
