Latest Hitman 2 trailer commits to robust post-launch support

Warner Bros. released Hitman 2 on Xbox One and other platforms on November 13, 2018. In order to become the perfect assassin, you have to blend into the crowd, exploit the environment, and trick numerous personalities.

Today, Warner Bros. and IO Interactive released a new trailer which detailed what to expect in Hitman 2 and what was coming in the future. The teams promised robust post-launch support for months to come. Apart from that, the first "Elusive Target" went live. Elusive Targets are unique missions that give you one chance to assassinate the target. This one, titled "The Undying," stars Sean Bean as former MI5 agent turned freelance assassin, Mark Faba, who is notoriously known as a master of faking his own death.

In Hitman 2, Agent 47 embarks on a mission to hunt the elusive "Shadow Client" and unravel his militia once and for all. However, when he learns the hidden truth about his past, nothing will ever be the same. The game also introduces new ways to play with the "Sniper Assassin" mode, a standalone feature that brings a co-op experience to the Hitman series.

In our review, we said, "IO Interactive set out to perfect the assassination sandbox with Hitman 2. Though the studio fell short, Hitman 2 is a commendable stealth experience that fans of the series shouldn't miss out on. Its future now rests in whether or not its Ghost Mode and celebrity elusive targets can hold people's attention."
