Jason Voorhees comes to Xbox One in Friday the 13th: The Game
One of horror's most iconic franchises has come to Xbox One with the launch of Friday the 13th: The Game. Now available for the console, Friday the 13th lets you play as franchise antagonist Jason Voorhees, as well as camp counselors in a brutal multiplayer struggle for survival.
The initial release of the game is a multiplayer-only affair, with one player taking the role of stalker as Jason Voorhees against seven camp counselors. And from the sounds of it, Jason will be equipped with plenty of power to handle the task:
There are likewise different counselors to choose from, all of which have different strengths and weaknesses. Players on the counselor team can work together using a number of different strategies to simply survive the night.
While multiplayer is the only portion of the game available at the outset, a single-player mode is promised to arrive at a later point as a free update.
If you're down for venturing into the horror-infused world of Friday the 13th, you can grab the game now on the Xbox Store for $40.
