Here's a Windows 10 Mobile concept video I wish was real
It's never looked bleaker for the future of Windows 10 Mobile, but that doesn't mean we can't take a look at what could have been!
Graphic and development outfit MAH Studio have put together a pretty stunning concept piece for a Project NEON-powered Windows 10 Mobile we'll probably never see.
Sent to me by MAH Studio member Mohsen Seifi, the video even throws in some unique features for good measure, including face-tracked related images, contextual Cortana, a new widgets panel, and more. Take a look.
Fluid animations, three-finger task switching, and a NEON-blur action center make for a wonderful photo finish.
It remains to be seen whether Windows 10 Mobile will see serious development considering it's no longer on the Redstone 3 development branch.
Microsoft says the numbers aren't important, of course, but it's getting to the point where you have to wonder whether this is the beginning of the end.
Hopefully Build 2017 will bring us some concrete answers, but hey, until then, let's take a moment to fantasize about the possibilities of Project NEON on a phone running Windows 10 Mobile.
Let us know in the comments what you think of the concept, and what features you hope Microsoft brings to the platform if they're planning to continue with it (because honestly, nobody seems to know right now.)
