HP announced two new laptops for users on the go that need to focus on productivity, the ZBook Firefly 14 and the ZBook Firefly 15. HP built these laptops with power users, creatives, and STEAM students in mind. They pass through MIL-STD 810G reliability and durability testing and have an option for 4G gigabit LTE.
Both devices have an option for NVIDIA Quadro P520 graphics and feature up to 10th Gen six-core Intel processors. While the laptops have some new power options with Quadro graphics, HP emphasizes their size. The ZBook Firefly 14 is the "world's smallest and lightest mobile workstation," according to HP. It's 8.8 percent smaller and 5.2 percent lighter than previous generations. The ZBook Firefly 15 is 9.5 percent smaller and 1.8 percent lighter than previous generations.
HP states that both the ZBook Firefly 14 and ZBook Firefly 15 get up to 17 hours of battery life, which should get students and power users throughout a day easily.

Both laptops feature up to 4K UHD displays that support HDR. The lineup maxes out at 550 nits on the 14-inch 4K UHD IPS option for the ZBook 14, which is enough brightness for indoor or outdoor use. The displays can also lay almost flat, with the ability to open 170 degrees.
The ZBook 14 and ZBook 15 feature dynamic power switching between the CPU or GPU and feature a Z Power Slider that balances performance and acoustics for different workflows.
The new ZBooks feature rubber domes, a quiet clickpad, and other design options that emphasize comfort and being quiet.
