The HP Envy x360 13 and 4K
As previously stated, the HP Envy x360 13 does not come with a 4K display option. While this will disappoint some, it's important to remember that this device is designed to be budget-friendly first and foremost. 4K is a costly feature to include with laptops, and offering one with this device would be going against the reason it exists in the first place.
Why you should get the HP Envy x360 13 anyway
Despite the lack of a 4K option, you should still consider getting the HP Envy x360 13. It's a fantastic budget device that offers a lot of performance for a very affordable price. For $630, you can get your hands on a laptop that has the latest AMD U-series processors, AMD Radeon graphics, a full 13.3-inch HD screen with 300 nits (or more, if you pay extra) of brightness, 8-16 GB of RAM, and up to 1TB in SSD storage.
The value doesn't stop there, though. On the physical side of things, the HP Envy x360 13 features an excellent keyboard and trackpad as well as relatively thin bezels and a slim 0.65-inch frame. In terms of ports, you get a single port each for USB-C and USB-A, as well as a microSD card reader. Overall, at this low price, the value that the HP Envy x360 13 offers makes it a steal.
Affordable excellence
The HP Envy x360 13 offers a ton of value at a low price, making it our favorite budget convertible on the market.
If you want a 4K display
If your heart is set on a convertible device that has a 4K display, we highly recommend the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. It's more expensive than the HP Envy x360 13, but it also comes with better specs. It features Intel's top-notch 10th Gen processors, Intel UHD, or Iris Plus graphics, up to a 13.4-inch 4K display with 500 nits, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD space. Additionally, like the HP Envy x360 13, the keyboard and trackpad are awesome, and the device is nice and slim. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports and a microSD card reader round out the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1's impressive lineup of features, solidifying the device as a fantastic 4K alternative to the more affordable HP Envy x360 13.
Go big with 4K excellence
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is a more premium convertible device that stands as an excellent 4K alternative to the HP Envy x360 13.
