How to get the shotgun in Resident Evil 3 Remake

Like every Resident Evil game in existence, you can indeed get a shotgun in Resident Evil 3 Remake, and it's pretty damn essential to getting through the undead-filled depths that await you throughout the game. It is, however, locked behind a pesky chain when you find it. So how exactly do you get it?

Thankfully, it's pretty easy!

How to get the shotgun in Resident Evil 3 Remake

  1. The shotgun is inside the Subway Office in the first part of the game. You need a Bolt Cutter to get it.Source: Windows Central

  1. At the back of the Subway Office is a fire hose you can use to put out the fire to the alleyway, next to the toy shop.
  2. Go into that alleyway and find the tools room next to the garage.

  1. Nab the bolt cutter, and marvel at its bolty glory.
  2. Head back to the Subway Office and use the bolt cutter on the gun case to grab your shiny new shotgun.
