How is Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 battery life?
How long does the laptop last, and why?
On average, you'll be able to get about 15 hours of usage out of the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 on a full charge. This is an incredible result that blows most other business laptops out of the water, and it can be attributed to two key factors: battery size and the laptop's power conservation.
The main thing that gives the device a ton of battery life is the battery itself. The optional 78 Wh battery will give you a ton of power that can power your laptop for well over a typical day of use. You won't get the same result out of the default 52 Wh option, but you can still get a ton of time between charges thanks to the device's inherently low power use. The display, unlike many other laptop screens, only uses one watt of power as opposed to two, which significantly boosts how long the device lasts.
In addition, the device's Express Sign-In feature, which turns your screen on or off based on whether or not it can automatically detect your face, can end up saving you power whenever you get up and leave the computer.
Why else should you get the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1?
Aside from the battery life, there are other reasons why the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is a great device. The full HD display has great color accuracy and 300 nits of brightness, and ultimately looks great despite the fact that it uses less power than most other screens (although obviously some other devices will look better). The screen itself has excellent touch functionality, which is important for when you use the device as a tablet.
The keyboard is comfortable to use and the bezels around the screen are razor thin, which are all crucial things for laptops to get right. The frame of the laptop is all-metal, too, which gives it awesome durability. It's also a compact and thin device that you won't have any issues taking with you on the go.
The device is equipped with Intel UHD 620 graphics and anywhere between an Intel Core i5-8265U (lowest spec) and an i7-8665U (highest spec) processor, as well as anywhere between 8 and 16GB of RAM and 256GB to 2TB of SD hard drive space depending on which configurations you opt for.
No matter which model of the device you get, this laptop will easily be able to handle whatever work tasks you throw at it. When you pair this capability with the incredibly long battery life and durable, compact physical design, it's easy to see why the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is a fantastic business laptop.
