Harvest Moon and Zelda hybrid 'Stranded Sails' launches on Xbox One
It's Harvest Moon meets The Legend of Zelda.
What you need to know
- Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed is an open-world survival game.
- It's a mash-up of the exploration and farming genre.
- You can think of it as a hybrid of Harvest Moon and The Legend of Zelda.
- It's available on Xbox One for $21.25 through the Microsoft Store.
Recently, Merge Games announced that it's teaming up with Lemonbomb Entertainment and Rokapublish to deliver Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands to consoles. The game is incredibly popular on PC and a lot of customers will be excited to see it make the jump to Xbox One and other devices.
For the next few days, you can purchase Stranded Sails on iOS for $21.25. However, after that, the price will go up to $25. The game looks great on Xbox One, but it doesn't seem to be Xbox One X Enhanced, so the visual presentation can be a little muddy on 4K displays.
Stranded Sails is an open-world exploration and farming adventure that focuses on discovery. Ship-wrecked on a mysterious archipelago, it's up to you to survive, solve the island's mysteries, and find a way to escape. The game also adds survival mechanics so it's not as easy as it looks. Stranded Sails takes inspiration from the Harvest Moon, The Legend of Zelda, and My Time At Portia in my opinion.
Gather your crew
After being shipwrecked on a mysterious archipelago, you'll have to fight off dangerous foes, gather your scattered crew and set up a farm to feed everyone stranded as you build up your camp.
